Kzoo Beer Garden and Patio & Paw Paw Riverside Dining Areas Opening Soon!

Spring is here and everyone is eagerly awaiting the opening of the outdoor eating areas.  Nobody wants them open more than myself!  I'm sick of winter, I hate the snow, and I can't stand cold weather.  Give me sun and a warm beach any day of the year!  Is it just me or does cold beer just seem to taste better on a hot day?

We will be working in the coming weeks on cleaning up the outdoor eating areas and plan to have them open just as soon as we can.  I would expect the outside areas to be open full time starting May 1st with limited seating opportunities before that depending upon the weather.  You can never tell what is going to happen in this state.  We may still see snow through the middle of April....but let's hope not.

Please be patient.   Clean up does take some time due to the amount of furniture and grounds we have to clean.  If the weather cooperates, we will be open in no time.  In the mean time, relax with a nice Oberon and think about the warm sunny days to come!

Did You Know?

As a Class 'C' liquor license holder, it is illegal for us to give away free tastings or samples of any alcoholic beverage.  Doing so would put us in violation of MLCC (Michigan Liquor Control Commission) code 436.2025. You can click on the following link and read the actual MLCC code here - http://legislature.mi.gov/doc.aspx?mcl-436-2025.

We do sell 'sample' size versions of our drinks so that you may try something before you buy a full size.  Just recently, we were accused by a customer of being too cheap to give away a small taste of wine so that he could see if he liked it before committing to buy an entire glass.  Our story about it being illegal wasn't believed simply because of his experience of being able to get samples from many of the bars in town that he had visited.  It was inconceivable to him that they would all be breaking the law so therefore it must be us being cheap and uncooperative.
